About me
Designer & Developer
I specialize in digital product design and building complex web applications. I enjoy taking an idea from a concept to release, and my desire to contribute to the entire process led me to pursue design in addition to cultivating my skills as a developer.
My career as a product designer officially began at the onset of 2018, but I'd been contributing to the design of Narrative Science products since 2016. As a hybrid developer/designer, I started by wireframing, testing, and ultimately building out new app features for our business intelligence team.
Today I'm involved in all parts of the creative process - from user research and data analysis to prototypes, testing, and mockups. I love the challenge of creating effortless user experience and designing delightful digital products.

Interactive Stories
As a product designer at Narrative Science, I get the chance to work on groundbreaking projects with unique design challenges every day. The goal of our current initiative is to provide businesses with a self-service tool that uses data to intelligently generate interactive stories at scale.
Designer & Developer
Narratives for Qlik
Narratives for Qlik is a third-party extension for Qlik Sense which communicates insights from visualizations. I had the opportunity to both redesign and implement user flows for configuring and customizing these insights.
Developer
Quill Engage
Quill Engage is a service which provides website performance reports based on Google Analytics data. After initial beta success, I was brought on board as a the project's front end engineer to build out a complete overhaul using AngularJS.

In my four years at Narrative Science I've worked in all aspects of user experience - from UX and UI design to the engineering of complex web apps. I've taken products all the way from ideation to MVP while contributing to both creative and practical processes, always with an end goal of creating awesome user experiences.
